How It Works
From competitor activity to AI-powered marketing intelligence
CompetitorIQ runs continuously in the background — monitoring, comparing, and analyzing everything your competitors do across websites, email, and social media.
Four steps from monitoring to insight
Step 1 — We track your competitors
You set up your competitor list once during onboarding. CompetitorIQ then monitors their websites (including homepages, campaign landing pages, and product pages), subscribes to their email newsletters, and follows their social media accounts — all automatically, around the clock.
Step 2 — We detect and compare changes
Our system takes regular screenshots and captures the full content of every monitored channel. When something changes — a homepage banner, a promotional email, a social post — we detect it, record it, and compare it to previous versions so nothing is missed.
Step 3 — Our AI recognizes campaigns
Changes don't exist in isolation. Our AI reads and analyzes content across all channels to identify coordinated campaigns. It categorizes each one by type — product launch, sales promotion, seasonal campaign, brand awareness, or employer branding — and tracks how long it runs.
Step 4 — You receive your intelligence report
On your chosen cadence (weekly or monthly), you receive a clear, structured intelligence report. It includes a market overview, key trends, major campaigns per competitor, and notable changes — written to be shared directly with your marketing, product, or sales team.
What we monitor
CompetitorIQ covers the three channels that matter most for marketing intelligence.
Websites
We monitor homepages, campaign pages, product pages, and pricing pages. Screenshots are taken at regular intervals and analyzed for changes in messaging, offers, and positioning.
Email newsletters
We subscribe to competitor mailing lists and capture every email they send. Subject lines, offers, product highlights, and timing are all analyzed and fed into campaign recognition.
Social media
We follow competitor social profiles and capture posts, ads, and content updates. Social signals are correlated with website and email activity to give a complete picture of each campaign.
What your reports include
Every report is structured to be immediately useful — not just a data dump.
Market overview
A narrative summary of the competitive landscape during the reporting period — what dominated, what was quiet, and what surprised.
Key trends
Recurring patterns across competitors: dominant channels, messaging themes, promotional mechanics, and timing strategies.
Campaign breakdown
A full list of detected campaigns per competitor, categorized by type, with start dates, duration, and the channels involved.
Notable changes
Specific observations per competitor — new product introductions, messaging shifts, pricing changes, and any activity that stands out.
Strategic implications
Context and interpretation: what the data might mean for your positioning, your campaigns, or your sales conversations.
Ready to share
Reports are formatted to be forwarded directly to your team — clear, concise, and free of raw data noise.
